Newborn session

I love taking pictures of newborns. They are so adorable and always looked peaceful and content. They are also very cooperative models in my opinion when compared to mobile toddlers with stranger anxiety.  Below are a few images I recently took for a friend. Congrats on their new bundle of joy!

Fun with photoshop elements

I love black and white photos and sometimes, leaving a splash a color can add a lot to an image as well.  I discovered how to select out an area to preserve the color and covert the rest of the image to black and white quickly on Photoshop Elements.  I love the results!

Fun with iPhone

I rarely use my iPhone to take pictures but that is about to change!  A family member found a lens attachment for iPhone and gave it to me.  I've been having so much fun with it!  I've always wanted a macro lens and a fisheye lens for my Nikon camera but can't afford them.  Here are a few photos I took on my iPhone with the special lens attachment.

Life Smiles Back

My inspiration for the motto, "Life Smiles Back," came from the LIFE magazine.  The famous back page of LIFE magazine often featured a photo that put a smile on my face.  These pictures remind me of how fun, serendipitous, and beautiful life can be.  They inspire me to challenge myself and live life to the fullest extent possible.  Below is one of my favorite images from the LIFE magazine that always puts a smile on my face.  I hope it does the same for you.

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Many of you know I have a passion for photography and have been taking pictures ever since my Dad gave me his camera when I was 12 years old.  Back then, cameras were 100% manual with film.  Growing up, my dream was to have a darkroom in my own house.  How times have changed!  Now, I dream of a "dark room" that is bright, clean, with a nice computer, and fancy software. 

I'm starting this blog to share with everyone my journey to becoming a better photographer.  I am challenging myself and starting a photography business.  I hope you will enjoy my pictures.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like me to take pictures for you.
